Wood Parched Minnesota Wild Rice – 1 lb
There is nothing else like this. Wood Parched Minnesota Wild Rice is wild rice in its most traditional form — slowly dried over a wood fire the way it has been prepared in the north woods for generations. That process creates something you simply cannot get anywhere else. A deep smoky flavor that goes far beyond ordinary wild rice and transforms every meal it touches.
This is the rice that stops people mid-bite. The smokiness is real and natural — not added, not artificial, not a seasoning blend. It comes entirely from the wood fire process itself. Cook it as a side dish, fold it into stuffing, use it in a cast iron skillet over your own campfire, or add it to soup for a depth of flavor that makes people ask what your secret is.
Every bag is stocked and bagged in house by hand. Not in a warehouse across the country — right here. Every single bag.

How To Cook It
Wood parched cooks faster than Grade A. Bring your liquid to a boil then reduce to a low simmer. Cover and cook 35 to 45 minutes until the grain opens and curls. Season lightly — the smoke does the heavy lifting. Cast iron is our preferred method always.
