Our Story
All Trails Lead North started with one simple idea — real wild rice from real northern waters, sold by someone who actually lives this life. Not a big brand. Not a warehouse operation. Just a family from the Northwoods who wanted to share something real.
We fish, ice fish, hunt, overland, hike, camp, kayak, run ATV and UTV trails, and chase gravel roads through the pines every chance we get. The Northwoods aren't a destination for us — they're home. And everything we sell comes from that place.
Our dream is simple — fish every lake, stream and river from Alaska to Maine, and visit every national forest in between. We're working on it.
Wild rice has been part of northern life for generations. Harvested by hand from the lakes and rivers we grew up on, it's as northern as it gets. When you cook with it, you're not just making a meal — you're bringing a piece of that world to your table, wherever you are.
Because this brand isn't just for people who live up north. It's for everyone who feels the pull. Maybe you grew up there and moved away. Maybe you make the drive every summer and count down the days. Maybe you've never been but something about the pines, the lakes, the gravel roads and the quiet calls to you anyway. You may never spot a moose or pull a walleye through the ice — but the north is yours to enjoy all the same.
Whether you're pulling a camper, living out of a van, mountain biking through evergreens, paddling a quiet lake, ice fishing at first light, running trails, or sitting around a cast iron fire — this brand was built for your life. And this rice was made for your table.
We donate 1% of every sale to clean water protection. Because the lakes and rivers that give us this rice deserve to be here for the next generation.
